Small Adventures

I had been wanting to go out and do photography for quite a while, but unfortunately I couldn’t. So I decided to see what I could photograph in my very own backyard. After about half an hour of waiting, I spotted this blackbird sitting on this tree, feeding. So I composed the photo with the blackbird looking out, and a bit of foreground blur. It was also an overcast day, so I overexposed to let the sky go white (the bird was in shadow, so it became a silhouette). I thought that the remaining colour in the image was a distraction, so I shot in black in white to give it a more simplistic feel.
