Aperture Priority or Manual? My decision

Recently I have been contemplating whether to go Manual or Aperture Priority and I’ve spent a lot of time contemplating which one to use.

Going full manual allowed me to capture this unique shot of this scaup.

In contrast aperture priority helped me capture this photo of a fast-moving robin.

Eventually, I decided that both had their uses depending on the circumstances. Here are the circumstances that where I will use either Aperture Priority or Manual:

Waterfowl Photography

Shorebird Photography

On overcast days (Partly)

Aperture Priority:

Passerine Photography

Sunny Days

Forest Photography
